Prozac for me. I find it less an anti depressant and more of a mood-neutralizer. doctor even said "well, you can never REALLY be cured" thx doc i needed that

as long as you're not actually getting off on real girls getting killed and people actually fucking dogs you're alright, and if you're not trying to find some girl and make her fuck a dog etc you're alright.
ntr is also fairly common i believe

Re: mental health

there's a clear distinction between sexual preferences and normal preferences. you shouldn't hate yourself for whatever you like, but just don't impress what you desire on anybody you get with unless there's clear communications. also know who and what to properly communicate with; a random person you meet isn't as interested in hearing about your guro desire if you just met them for a fling, but someone who you can clearly trust in any aspect should.

Re: mental health

i'm also a self-diagnosed narcoleptic
although thats not really too ridiculous to say i am

>sleep paralysis check (used to get it constantly, going away now)
>inability to sleep at night
>wanting to sleep at day all the fufgging time (i can wake up at fucking 2am, be tired during the day and if it hits nighttime again, i won't be tired)
>generally still tired after sleeping
>excessively long sleeping sessions (or incredibly short, depends on what time of day)

Re: mental health

I think im finding out how to solve this depression issue, as it's getting to the 2-year mark since ive been diagnosed with it.
At least solved the issue of how to do things, not really how to enjoy things but it's a start.

I think I might need some therapy, but last time I had it it was just an old guy listening to me talk for an hour or 2 every week. It was boring and generally useless.

Re: mental health

incredibly depressed, bad anxiety issues, dissociation

i've wanted to try therapy but i don't want to ruin whatever positive image my parents have left of me.

i had a panic attack once last year and when my mother came to take me home from school she just looked so disappointed and not concerned for me in the slightest even though i was a snotty sobbing mess. by the time she has me out of hearing range of everyone, in the parking lot, she's nagging me to stop crying n' to get over myself and that these problems won't fix themselves if i keep crying about them. i understand that. thank you. i love advice you give me for future reference and no present comfort or support. luv it. funny thing is is that this is the first (and only) time i had ever had a panic attack and she's acting like it's old news or some recurring problem with me.

so i really don't want to try telling them that i'm depressed. my mother had a hard enough time accepting the fact that i liked more than just women.

Yeah but he didn't give any advice on what to do about it. Plus he seemed really uninterested. I would be too, but he's getting paid for it, at least look a bit interested.

Re: mental health

there's multiple styles of therapy, ranging from the therapist dictating the course of action and some that are passive observers in therapy. find the one that best fits what you want out of therapy, if possible for you.

afaik one of the most important things in therapy is finding a therapist that clicks with you

Re: mental health

going to the dentist helped me think a lot because what else am I going to do while they're cutting off sections of my gums

it helped me a lot and I feel a lot more at ease although there are still some people to talk to

it might have been because i was on a lot of painkillers and laughing gas but for the first time in a while i have felt genuinely happy for no reason and that was enough to make me happy now
