Hopefully you all know about Pokemon. It's an RPG where you can make a team out of 6 Pokemon and then you battle with them.

Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver were the best. That's my most played one with almost 200 hours.
Johto is the best region.
It's also the prettiest.
Stadium 2 is the best game, though.
the mystery dungeon series is so much better than the actual games
I'd like to know your reasoning behind this.

I don't like the Dungeon series but it is probably because the original can get kind of repetitive.

And the Dungeon series can't?

i like it better
there's better music
an actual plot
character development
it plays closer to a roguelike, which i enjoy
it's more fun imho

i recently began to play pokemon red dungeon again and it's pretty fun. but i don't think it's better than the original pokemon. i mean honestly they're completely different and pmd has some stupid bullshit.
>disable paralyzes
>paralyze lasts 500 years
>getting gangraped while under sleep or paralyze
>everything has a chance to miss for some reason
>sleep lasts 500 years
>carry like 9 revive seeds and never die
>0.01% recruitment rate erryday
other than that it's pretty fun.

Honestly, the remakes really toned down the overall tones and feelings I had when I first played through Gold/Silver/Crystal. I feel like Nintendo tried too hard when it came to the development of HG/SS. Plus you have to plan a lot less because Pokemon became genuinely easy as poop as soon as they made the physical special split.
I'd honestly recommend Crystal to start. It gets you familiar with a lot of the core elements most standard Pokemon games have now, while still being able to bask in what we had to work with back then. Day/Night cycles were already a thing at this point (which got dropped in RSE for no particular reason), an introduction to more interaction with NPCs rather than just one fight (they'd find items for you on occasion, or rematch you), the introduction to time-based events, such as fighting X trainer on a certain day, entering Y contest on these certain days, ect. This is also coupled with the fact that Crystal really started to establish some story and back-story into Pokemon, and it's a wonderful thing to experience in its purest form. Plus, GSC is when we were introduced to Steel and Dark types, so really the only thing you DON'T get to have here is the Physical Special split of Gen IV, and any subsequent Pokemon.

This actually isn't a bad suggestion. I play Crystal regularly. The only problem I can see arising is that, by now, most (if not all) Crystal game cartridges' internal batteries have run dry, which means they can't take advantage of the clock features.
So what we learned from the Pokemon Direct today:
Pokemon Box: Online system that allows you to store up to 3,000 Pokemon on a cloud-like system. You will need Pokemon Box in order to export your B/W/B2/W2 Pokemon using a second thing for your 3DS, which is the Poke Transporter. The only flaw here is that there is an annual fee for Pokemon Box, but we don't know how much that will be.
The Starters: The Professor of this Gen doesn't give you the Gen VI Pokemon this time around. Instead, your friend/rival w/e thing will give you one of your Gen VI Pokemon. Afterwards, the professor will give you one of the Kanto starters. The Kanto starters are confirmed to Mega-Evolve. This will involve both the Mega Stone, and something you get for your character called the Mega Bracelet.
America will also be getting these limited edition 3DS XL designs, instead of just Japan receiving them.
they dont come with the games though
so he can be even shittier in the entry hazards meta
everyone needs to be shittier basically
fairy type is out so it has to counter a bunch of shit man
Fuck man now that i know we get 2 STARTERS to start i dont know who ima freakin pick from each batch
how is ampharos being electric/dragon bad tho. im wondering why it's classified as dragon type when it's absolutely nothing like a dragon type
more weaknesses
unless it gets some good dragon stab moves i don't see how adding another type is good
